  • Wall St closed 0.3% lower, ahead of the earnings reporting season, which is expected to show lower earnings. Alcoa reported in line expectation, and guided on strong demand. Consumer credit expanded
  • by USD17.5bln in May, more than expected.
  • Dow of 12,736 is heading higher to target 13,300. RSI of 52, is neutral.
  • DOLLAR INDEX is lower at 83.1. Resistance is at 83.8.
  • Crude oil is higher at USD86.0. Resistance is at 89.4.
  • Dollar yen is lower at 79.5 yen. Upside is at 80.6.
  • Euro/dollar is higher at 1.231. Support is at 1.187.
  • Gold is higher at USD1587. Upside is at 1740.
  • Shanghai closed lower at 2,170.
  • Singapore STI closed lower at 2,934.
  • Ringgit is stronger at 3.181. Downside is at 3.210.
  • S’pore ringgit is higher at 2.510. Upside is at 2.540.
  • Malaysian market closed unchanged at 1620. On the Daily chart, it is targeting 1621. Pullback support is at 1591. RSI of 68, remains positive. Today’s range is between 1616 and 1626.
  • CPO Sep futures is higher at RM3160. Upside is at 3289.
